About Speqly
Speqly turns a tradesperson's site photos into a professional, priced proposal. Itemised costs, before and after visuals, and a one-tap accept button, in about ten minutes. It exists because quoting is where small trade businesses lose the most winnable work: not on price, but on speed and presentation.
Who builds it
Speqly is built by Alexis Boshoff, its founder. He started Speqly while running his own home renovations, where he found costing and planning far harder than they should be. Talking to contractors showed the same problem from the other side, so he built the tool both sides needed.
Speqly is built in the UK, for UK trades. VAT is handled properly, day rates and per square metre pricing are understood, and approved costings push into Xero as draft invoices the way UK accountants expect. QuickBooks Online support is in development.
