1. Introduction

Speqly ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web and mobile applications.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Business name and contact information
• Optional, self-selected types of work and your work-type personalisation preference
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)

You can select several work types, edit or clear them, or switch off work-type personalisation in your profile. When enabled, these choices help tailor suggestions, content and AI context; they are not qualifications and do not limit which jobs you can quote. Selecting work types does not give consent to marketing emails or advertising tracking.

Project Data

When you use our services, we collect:

• Images you upload for project analysis
• Project descriptions and requirements
• Generated project plans and proposals

Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information about your device and usage patterns, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve our AI-powered project planning services
• Process your transactions and manage your subscription
• Send you service-related communications
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Analyze usage patterns to improve our services
• Comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

Your uploaded images and project descriptions are processed by AI services (Google Gemini) to generate project plans. We do not use your personal project data to train AI models. Your data is processed solely to provide you with the requested service.

Optional Speqly PA

If you activate Speqly PA and accept its data settings, your requests, recent conversation context, approved memories and relevant business records are processed by Google Gemini. These records can include client contact details, enquiries, job information, pricing, costs and invoices. Use the PA only for business information you are authorised to share. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.

We store PA conversations, proposed actions and their outcomes, feedback, saved memories and scheduled briefing instructions in your Speqly account. Suggested memories are used only after you approve them. This personalisation does not train a new model or allow the PA to change its own software or permissions. You can pause the PA, disable long-term memory, delete individual memories or delete all PA history in the web and mobile apps. Disabling memory does not remove conversation context; clearing PA history removes it from Speqly without deleting your underlying business records or cancelling billing.

If you link WhatsApp, Meta processes messages through its WhatsApp Business Platform and we store your linked telephone number and delivery status. WhatsApp replies share your PA conversation history. Disconnect from PA settings or send STOP on WhatsApp. Deleting PA history does not remove messages already delivered to your WhatsApp account or data retained by providers under their own applicable terms. Minimal subscription, usage and delivery-replay records may be retained for billing, security and legal obligations. Contact privacy@speqly.com for an access, export or erasure request.

5. Google Calendar (optional)

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Speqly asks Google for three permissions, and uses them only to show your Speqly work alongside the rest of your diary:

• Create and manage a "Speqly" calendar (calendar.app.created). Speqly creates one secondary calendar in your Google account and writes your site visits, job days, tasks and invoice deadlines to it. If you move a visit or job day in that calendar, Speqly updates the matching record. Speqly cannot create, change or delete events in any other calendar.
• See the list of your calendars (calendar.calendarlist.readonly), so you can choose which of your own calendars to show in Speqly.
• View events in the calendars you choose (calendar.events.readonly). For those calendars only, Speqly reads each event's title, location, start and end time and link, from 30 days ago to a year ahead, and shows them as read-only "busy" entries in your Speqly calendar so you do not double-book. Speqly never changes or deletes these events.

Speqly also receives your Google account email address so it can show which account is connected. Your Google access tokens are stored encrypted. Calendar data is used only to provide the calendar features you see in Speqly. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold or shared with anyone else, it is not sent to AI services, and it is not used to train AI models. People at Speqly do not read it except with your permission, to investigate a security issue, or where the law requires.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings. Disconnecting removes the Speqly calendar from your Google account, revokes Speqly's access and deletes the stored tokens and every calendar event Speqly copied. You can also remove Speqly's access from your Google Account under Security, Third-party access.

Speqly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate our platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, Clerk for authentication, Supabase for data storage)
• Your Clients: When you send proposals, the proposal content is shared with your specified recipients
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security assessments.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. If you accept optional cookies in the banner, we also use analytics (PostHog, Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising. When you sign up, start a trial or buy from us we send Meta a hashed version of your email address and account id so that advertising can be attributed; Meta cannot read these values. Choose "Essential only" in the banner to opt out of the optional cookies at any time by clearing your site data.

We remember your cookie choice for up to 180 days. With optional-cookie consent, an enabled landing-page test can remember a headline variant for seven days, and campaign information can be held in this browser tab for up to 24 hours. If you complete signup while consenting, we may save the landing page, campaign tags and test exposure with your account to measure effectiveness. We do not store advertising click IDs in this profile attribution. Choosing essential cookies clears pending browser attribution and the test assignment; it does not automatically erase attribution already saved with your account.

Clicking a trade-specific signup link may also remember that work type in this tab for up to 24 hours, solely to suggest it during setup. You review and confirm your choices before they are saved.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
